One of my favorite podcasts in Context mode was with television and film music composer John Lunn. He is probably best known for scoring the TV series Downton abbey – for which he received two Primetime Emmy awards. His recent work includes the score of the feature film Electricity and hit TV shows: The mysteries of Grantchester, Shetland, and The White Queen—For which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination. Towards the end, I played some sound clips from two of his scores, and John (a Mac user) explained the instruments used. This episode deserves to be reviewed, especially now that the Downton abbey the film is available for streaming.
