Audible updates iOS app with support for offline audiobook view on Apple

With the release of iOS 12 and OS 5 earlier this week, developers are working hard to update their apps to support the new features. Specifically for OS, the developers of large apps for playing third-party audio are now updating their apps so that they can be played without needing your iPhone. Joining this club today is Audible.

Audible today updated its app to add support for syncing audiobooks with your Apple, so you can listen to audiobooks without the need for your iPhone.

The app specifically mentions that it synchronizes audiobooks via Bluetooth. Although it is, like most other audio apps, disabling Bluetooth and connecting both your iPhone and Apple with Wi-Fi, the most efficient way to synchronize, the process to transfer books to your Apple faster.

Audible is available as a free download for iPhone, iPad and Apple.

The complete changelog can be found below:

– Leave your phone at home and take your Audible books with you on Apple. Sync your Audible titles from your iPhone and play them from your Apple via Bluetooth. Save, pause, or set a sleep timer with your.

– Now members get MORE: two audible originals and one spoken book every month.
