Apple TV veteran, quit the company and join "Social Broadcast" startup

Former Apple TV executive Jen Folse, who was known to Apple followers for a presentation at Apple's event, quit the company for startup caffeine.

Caffeine is a social broadcast platform for games, entertainment and other artistic content. Force serves as the new vice president of the product and helps companies create product roadmaps.

Folse started a career as a senior product designer of Apple in May 2010. She played an important role in the development and release of the four iterations of Apple TV. Ben Keighran (CEO of Caffeine) is an Apple employee, joined Apple in 2012 and Apple bought up his own application search startup Chomp. He departed in 2016.

Keighran said, "I have worked with Apple over Jen for years, but I could not get her to drive a product experience, road map, product design team through the development process. She is an astonishing product design leader, executive and as we grow the caffeine platform, I am looking forward to working with her.

In the year 2018, the Apple TV looks like a few intersections. Despite improvements, set top boxes are still bit players with an attractive weakness and lack of developer involvement.

Meanwhile, Apple is heavily involved in its own program production, sometimes starting a subscription service of the Netflix format, and it certainly promotes sales of Apple TV.

We hope that Jen Folse will be the best for her new work.
