Apple Store POS and pickup system see downtime across the country

Tons of Apple users are excited to pick up their new iPhone XS, XS Max and Apple Series 4 today. Unfortunately we hear that Apple Stores currently sees downtime with the collection and checkout system, so customers can not get their devices.

We hear from many people that Apple's sales and collection system does not work for about an hour or so. Of all accounts it seems to be a national or potential worldwide problem.

Even though it was an S-year, there was a mix of problems with logistics. Last night, pre-order customers saw their shipping dates slip from today to Monday, but some have changed again to arrive today.

As far as the current issue at Apple Stores is concerned, we have heard across the country that the problem is occurring. One account states that it is a global problem at one of Apple's locations in Chicago.

If you go to your local Apple Store today, be prepared that it can take longer than usual to get your pre-ordered items.
