Apple hired former name Liz Schimel of CondéNast and is helping build Apple News. information Via AppleInsider) Reports that Apple's new title is responsible for the news business (requires subscription) according to her LinkedIn profile. She is a veteran of the media and her recent title was Conde Nast 's China Business President. Personally, I was concerned that Apple was another project that Apple had forgotten to launch, but the company intends to expand its service. I read articles on Apple News on iPad and iPhone everyday, but when OS shipped later this year, I plan to use it with Mojave of MacOS. TMO is also increasing the traffic of Apple News, probably consistent with the overall growth of the platform. Everything makes sense to Apple's investing in more resources and people, building and promoting Apple News.
